Lizzie Hillier has announced that she will be starting medical school this fall. We are happy for her future patients but we are sorry for ourselves. Lizzie has been a lab member for only two years, but it feels like she had been here for decades. Everything became perfectly organized soon after she started and we forgot how things were before. Lizzie knows how each of the monkeys respond to training, she can run neurophysiological experiments, she knows the place of everything, and she bakes sinfully good things that she brings to the lab. Our consolation prize is that Tess Champ, our undergraduate technician who has been working with Lizzie, can carry forward what she has started. Tess has been accepted into the Physiological Sciences masters program so she will remain in the lab for the next two years. Congratulations Lizzie and Tess!
